The trouble with being 43 - or being any age above, say, 17 - is that I understand less and less why people do stupid shit when the evidence is plainly before them that it is, in fact, stupid shit.

Like the latest girl who just had naked (or semi-naked) pictures of her "stolen" and posted on the web. She's distraught, threatening lawsuits, etc.

Here's a thought . . . don't take nekkid pictures!! Unless you do in fact WANT them posted on the internet, and if that's the case STFU.

What's hard about that decision? That guy you're dating now, the one you're so in luuuuv with? He's the one who'll be your ex-boyfriend in about six months, and he'll have those nudie shots to do with what he pleases. The photos you intend to guard with your life on your PC or laptop? There's no such thing.

Honestly, I'm bored with reading about yet one more girl who's been 'violated' this way. The fix is simple . . . keep your clothes on when you take photos.

Problem solved.
