Something to consider for my next vacation, how to stay alive if my hotel is attacked by terrorists.

Not that I actually have a problem with hotel security, mind you. My wanderings and vacations tend to be local. A week at the beach. A long weekend at a b&b. Maybe a few days at an amusement park.

Armed, masked religious extremists don't figure into any of that.

Obviously, tragedy can happen anywhere. Nutjobs tend to travel well.

But I will not be traveling to exotic locales where these kinds of things happen a little more often. Part of me admires the adventurers among us who make visiting dangerous places their life's work. The other part of me pretty much thinks those same people are bonkers.

I'll let those folks have those adventures. I'll be over here....counting my pinfeathers.
