The only awards show I watch is the Oscars and usually I get bored about 1/3 of the way through and decide to watch something else.

Not last night. Wow. Now that's the way you do an Oscars show!!

Okay, so Hugh Jackman is always easy to look at and that *definitely* helped. But the rest of the show was fabulous, too. I loved loved loved having five past winners come out for the major awards, too. Can I just say, too, how much I adore Sophia Loren? She stood there, posed and regal, and it was like I could hear this voice in her head saying, "This is how you bring it, bitches!" Wonderful, just wonderful.

Since I stayed up way past my bedtime I'm going to be downing the caffeine today but it was absolutely worth it. At the risk of adding even more superlatives to this post....awesome, just awesome.
